About
Simple, private tools for creating strong passwords and memorable usernames.
What we do
This site offers two free tools: a Password Generator and a Username Generator. They are designed to be quick, clear and easy to use on any device, with no sign-up required.
How we keep it private
Both tools run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Passwords are created with your browser’s built-in cryptographic random number generator, and nothing you generate or type into the tools is sent to us or stored anywhere.
Good password habits
- Use a different password for every account.
- Choose 16 or more characters for important accounts.
- Store passwords in a reputable password manager.
- Turn on two-factor authentication wherever it is offered.
